Happening in parallel with Maison&Objet tradeshow, Paris Design Week is a B to C week long event in the city, designed for professionals and a wider audience of design fans showcasing spots that make up the ecosystem of Parisian excellence in decor: decorators, interior designers, galleries, great maisons and exceptional craftspeople.
As Sustainability Ambassador, Laurence Carr will attend Maison&Objet tradeshow and Paris Design Week this September. She will highlight and amplify the presence of sustainability and circular economy practices of furnishings brands, galleries, maisons and craftmanship.
Laurence is a French American citizen, has lived in four continents and brings the breadth of her work and life experience along with her acute circular design expertise to the architecture and design industry worldwide.
The conversation and importance of identifying and putting forward sustainable and circular economy practices in the architecture, design and furnishings industry is increasingly becoming crucial for successful “B2B, B2C” audience engagement.
Earlier this year, she joined the judges panel of Maison&Objet “Sustainable Parcours” to select more than 200 sustainable brands exhibiting at the fair. Laurence Carr is a leader and an expert in the US and Europe on the topic of circularity in the lifestyle sector and she will help expand the sustainability and circularity presence of Maison&Objet trade fair to the US audience as well as other international markets.
