As the year winds down, my focus has shifted to planning for the new year ahead: new trade shows, energizing speaking engagements, and new opportunities for connecting with this exceptional community that we have here on Beyond Aesthetics. To that end, I am thrilled to be able to share some exciting news: I have been selected as a Designhounds Influencer for the 2020 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in sensational Las Vegas! In January I will join a group of 14 fabulously talented influencers on an all-access tour of this innovative and unique show, and I will be sharing all of my thoughts and a few looks behind the scenes with you on the blog.

KBIS is a truly unique market. The show hosts over 600 vendors and 31,000 attendees each year, making it the largest kitchen and bath show in North America. Next year’s market runs January 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and brings together a group of industry insiders including architects, designers, installers, and vendors, amongst others. And that combination is what makes this show truly distinctive: with so many professionals onsite, designers have access not only to trend and innovation scouting, but to working through real time design challenges at the show. With kitchens and baths being some of the most complicated projects to take on, this is certainly an asset to those of us with projects in work.

I would love to hear from each of you on your experiences at KBIS, and if you will attend next month, January 2020, please do let me know in the comments!

I am so grateful to KBIS and Designhounds for this wonderful opportunity, and am eager to share more with you right here on Beyond Aesthetics in January!
